Training Overview:

Forscher Solutions provides the SQL administrator training program that focuses on the delivery of modules to perform day­to­day management operations on a Wintel SQL database environment, that are deployed on the landscapes within your own or your customer's organization. The training is delivered by Subject Matter Experts currently managing, SQL and Oracle Database landscapes in real time environments. The course and its contents are developed by subject matter experts and solution Architects, who deliver the solutions to Fortune 500 and Top­Notch MNCs around the globe.

Target Audience and Prerequisites:

This training program is designed for candidates with no prior database knowledge or experience, however, Oracle Database and/or windows management experience is highly recommended.This training has been designed and developed from the ground up by training experts, specifically to cater, candidates from background with no prior DB management experience as well.

  • SQL and Windows: partners in database simplification

Module 3: Networking and Storage

  • Understanding the Networks: Ethernet and Fiber channel

  • Understanding SAN and NAS.

  • Advantages of SAN over NAS and vice versa.

Module 4: Database from an SQL perspective

Module 5: Design, Plan, Implement and test an SQL Enterprise Environment:

  • Designing and planning a SQL Database solution for an Enterprise environment

  • Installation and configuration of a SQL Application on a Live Windows Enterprise environment

  • Configuring system and Db parameters after the implementation( This is preset from the Design stage)

Module 6: Management of an SQL Enterprise environment:<

  • Managing the jobs on a single server to multiple server enterprise environment

Module 7: Backup and restoration in SQL on an Enterprise Environment:

  • Recovery Models in SQL

  • Perform backup operations on the developed solution, by backing up DBs and logs

  • Performing an intentional destruction/corruption of a DB

  • Understanding the restoration techniques and processes used in an Enterprise
